CF: It’s been really nostalgic. Those guys are still some of my best friends in the world. Obviously the Hold Steady has garnered quite a bit more success and notoriety, but there was an us-against-the-world feeling in Lifter Puller that I really like looking back on. And just being younger, and some of the personalities involved— it was quite a bit wilder than we ever are in the Hold Steady.

Reminder: Nick is VERY cool.
